Many thanks to Kath for organising and other members who helped with the coffee morning. The event went well although we didn't have many people attending...due to the weather probably. We had some lovely raffle prizes and the cake table was splendid. There was a tombola too which made some money. We even managed to get a couple of new members… In total over £300 was raised , which is great for St Ives.

Many thanks to all those who donated the cakes and prizes for the raffle

The fungi walk took place on Sunday 4th November  with Bob Taylor (shown above right) Ecologist from the Sports Turf Research Institute was  a great success, with over 100 people attending, and ran considerably over time due to the great interest shown by all the participants, young and old.  Conditions were perfect for the fungi forage with many species collected.
