The Friends of St Ives is a group of volunteers who first gathered in 2003 to ensure that future developments to St Ives near Bingley in West Yorkshire (UK), are in keeping with the way the estate was originally designed and to ensure that all users can enjoy its beauty for many generations to come. We are hoping to work with Bradford Council and help with repairs and the development of facilities. We arrange guided walks and events throughout the year.
The St Ives Estate offers rural tranquility with its variety woodland walks and abundant flora and fauna. There is a children’s play area, The Ivy Kitchen Cafe, Golf Course (members only), Fishing pond (members only), Riding School, Archery (members only), Bridle Paths. A visitor’s centre is manned by volunteers and has limited opening times on Wednesday and Saturday.
Anyone wishing to help or become more involved in the Friends activities can contact the group by messaging us via Facebook, emailing or in person at the visitors centre in the estate grounds.
